Dr. Brian E. Saunders earned his Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee in 1983.
He is a member of the American Optometric Association (AOA) and the Georgia Optometric Association., a Fellow in the International Academy of Low Vision Specialists and a member of the AOA Low Vision Section. He has frequently lectured about low vision care, macular degeneration and nutrition.
Dr. Saunders has trained in new treatments for low vision and has extensive experience in helping patients regain a drivers licenses lost because of low vision.
In addition to his metro Atlanta office in Mableton, Georgia, Dr. Saunders has satellite offices in Savannah and Valdosta, Georgia.
